I thought that I would try and check for updates, Software update tells me iPhoto is not installed (it is and works) but when I press Install it tells me it is already installed. Went to connect my GoPro, the iMac does not detect it, my MBP recognizes it immediately. Went into the iPhoto library manually and all the photos are still there but iPhoto only sees the first 900 or so. To my surprise my library apart from the last 12ish months had disappeared from the IPhoto library. Went to bed determined to fix things the next day. I tried the iPhone and it repeatedly stopped mid upload of one of the photos, that photo / video was different every time I tried it. Came back from my daughters wedding and tried to upload my Nikon camera and iPhone 5 images to iPhoto.
